Oh my God. I love Lady Gaga. The show Wednesday night was amazing. Justine and I could hardly sleep the night before and work took what felt like a century to pass. Justine’s cousin, Lisa, came up and was getting ready at the house while we worked. When we got home it was a whirl wind of hairspray, curling irons, glitter and makeup. A cloud of perfume hovered in the bathroom, all while Lady Gaga blasted on our stereo.
Once we were all ready and raring to go, we jumped in the car and headed to our local BJ’s Brewery for dinner. The restaurant was just down the street from the arena and fans filled every corner. Some regular patrons were taken aback by all the Gaga-centric fans that piled into the restaurant, but it made the wait for our table all the more worth while.
After dinner and drinks we headed over to the arena about 30 minutes before the Scissor Sisters hit the stage. It was amazing how gay Sacramento became in the course of a few hours. Gay boys and older gay men, lesbians and transgenders, not to mention several trannys all crammed into the stadium to see Gaga in the flesh. I loved it.
The rest of the night was a blur and apparently so are my few pictures. But, at least I can say I’m one step closer to scratching an item off my 23 before 24 list. 1 concert down 2 to go. Enjoy.
